Busy Week

What a busy week.....here is a re-cap of things that happened at our house this last week.....First of all...John and Derek have been taking the truck apart doing some mechanical work and preparing for body work.....

Here is Derek putting the drive shaft back in the truck....Then, Ieshia wasn't feeling well so I had to take her to the Dr...seems she had an ear infection, and sore throat and a few allergies....

In spite of being sick,the very next day, she competed in the solo/ensemble competition for her school and got first place on both her solo and duet!!! Here she is with her two first place ribbons...

.An awesome job Ieshia!! That was on Saturday morning, on Saturday night she competed at Abingdon Idol...What an awesome job she did! Everyone stood up when she started to sing and whistled and clapped! I was soo very proud of her! Even though she didn't win a trophy, she won the heart of everyone in the audience! On the way out, everyone stopped us and said "Ieshia was so good she should have won!" Another exciting thing happened this week, Ieshia met her biological father for the first time since she was about 10 months old....She was nervous, but her was a very nice man....

Emily enjoyed watching the chocolate chip cookies bake and also played with her kitten, Brady..
