Vacation...Day 2 and 3

Day 2..and 3...
   On day 2 of our vacation, we went to The fantastic Caverns in Springfield, MO.   Josh, Shelby and the girls met us there.  While we were waiting, we took some pictures....

Next we all went to Lamberts....Wonderful Restaurant..."Home of the throwed Rolls"

Then we drove towards West Plains, MO and stopped in Mansfield, MO at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum, Book Store, and toured her home!  It was very interesting....I really enjoyed it!

Then we continued on our way to West Plains and went to Jason and Alicia's house.   What a pretty house!   We met their dog, Jackson, and their two cats...Moose and Velcro.

Mom and Derek stayed the night at Jason's house, and John and I and the girls, stayed at Josh and Shelby's house.   Josh got the telescope out and Emily and Ieshia got to look at the moon.  It was fascinating!

On day 3...we all piled in the cars and too a ride down to Arkansas....We went to Mammoth Springs, and Hardy.   On the way back, we ate lunch at a delicious steak house on the river!

It was a very hot day!!   Then it was back on the road...we stopped at Boomland and then stayed the night in Mt. Vernon, IL.
