First snow

We finally had our first measurable here in the midwest.  It started snowing on Thursday Jan 12 and ended on Friday the 13th.  We got 4-6 inches of powdery, blowing snow with blizzard like conditions.  The temperature was 17* and windchill was -4 to -7 below.   I was watching Blaize and Lyndie that day.  Blaize kept looking out the window.  I'm sure he doesn't remember what snow is.  So I went out on the porch and scooped up a pan of snow for him to see close up!!  He loved it!  

I love my Grand-babies!  They are getting big too quick!

                                                          

Happy Birthday Donna!

On January 7th, we had our first Family Game Night of the year.  We had several kinds of pasta, and sauces.  We also had garlic bread, salad, torpedos, fudge, and cake pops!

Happy New Year 2012

Once again our family got together for fun, food, and games to bring in the new year.  We love to get together, we always have lots of fun and laughs!!   

We had a lot of food!

We had bacon wrapped water chestnuts, chicken lip dip, queso dip, taco dip, cheesy sausage dip, chips, and lots of other finger foods like smokies, meatballs, wings, and steak fajitas!  We had a feast!  We sat around the table and played board games, too.

At the stroke of midnight we all celebrated with white grape juice in our red solo cups!    Happy New Year from The Keller Family, The Lonas Family, The Addis Family, The Brady Family, and The Hunt Family, and The Snyder Family!!!
