New Little House........

Today we were busy helping Sharayah clean her "new" little house. It's very cute. We washed windows, walls, cleaned all the cupboards, shampooed carpets, and washed all the appliances we moved in. Needless to say I'm exhausted! There's still a load or two to move and all the stuff in Andys garage. But we are getting it done fast. Here are a few pics of Sharayah and her house while we were moving a few things in.

Here is the front of her house.........................
John backed up ready to move in her refridgerator..................

This is Sharayah at her front door............................Sharayah in her kitchen by the sink.................................And here is Sharayah in her driveway by her side door.....................She is really excited about her house! I can't wait to see it all put together.

Friday.....

Nothing exciting happened today. Today was grandparents day for Derek and Emily. My Mom went with them to school for that. School got out early today and the kids got their report cards. Derek and Emily both did very well. Ieshia did very well too, except for her math grade which she promises to raise. I took the kids to McDonalds since I was out running errands. Later on, Ieshia dressed up like an old lady and went to her Halloween dance.

Sharayah and Andy took John and I to Subway for supper. It was good!! Derek and Grandma Keller worked on a puzzle for several hours!

Emily amused her self by dressing up the kittens!
Here is Emily and Smokey. Smokey is wearing a nice purple sweater with a ducky on it!
And here is Emily with Sally Ann. Sally Ann is wearing a nice formal dress which happens to match her tag............haha
Sharayah and Andy got the key to their new house that they are renting. I'm going to go help sharayah do some cleaning tomorrow and hang curtains and shampoo some carpets. It's a cute little house with a picket fence and a garage. Hopefully they will be able to move soon.

Baking Day......

Wow! What a day I had today! Mom and I decided to make up a bunch of pies and freeze them. That way whenever I want to bake a pie all I have to do is take one out of the freezer and bake it. So we made 3 cherry pies, one apple, 2 peach, and 1 raisin. Mom made the dough and I helped put the filling in.

Well, the pies looked so good I decided that I should bake at least one! So I decided to bake a cherry pie!!
It was so good!! We also had a bunch of fresh apples given to us and I thought it would be neat to make some apple dumplings and put them in the freezer too. So Mom peeled and sliced the apples, then made the dough and put the dumplings in the baking pan.
They looked so good! I have to let you know later on how yummy they taste!! We had leftover dough and filling so I thought I would make a few cherry and peach turnovers. They weren't the prettiest, but they tasted wonderful!!!
Anyway, after all that work, we decided to make some homemade chicken and noodles for supper! So mom set out making the dough for the noodles and then she sliced the noodles really thin.
They turned out so good!! Mom makes the best homemade noodles!!! We had them for supper with mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls!

I invited Crystal, Andy, and Sharayah to come and eat with us. As you can see, Sharayah really loved the noodles!!!

Poetry.........

Today I thought I would leave a poem on my blog.......

In a house full of people, she sits all alone

family all around , but her thoughts are her own

Not fully understanding, but wanting to fit in

She laughs and nods, and sits with a grin

her process of thinking is different then some

She doesn't seem to feel, usually looks numb

I often wonder why? What happened years ago?

Why is she different and sometimes act 'slow'?

I think she knows she's different in a way

But exactly how she can not say

nothing changes day after day

She lives her life in her own way.

Another Fall Sunday.......

Today was another beautiful day outside! The sun was bright and there was a cool breeze, just right for working or playing outside. I hung out a lot of clothes and they dried so fast and smelled so fresh! The kids had a great time playing in the sand where the pool was.
John and his friends played in the sand too, only theres was more expensive! haha Actually, John is restoring a 49 GMC and they were doing some body work to it and sandblasting it to get all of the surface rust and paint off.

I was pretty much busy doing laundry or in the kitchen all day. I made homemade spaghetti sauce, Italian pasta salad, garlic bread, no-bake cookies and cherry jello with mandarin oranges. I did go outsid once in awhile to see what every one was doing. Once when I went out I took some pictures of my fall stuff that I have outside..

We have a pretty big yard so I have several displays out! I love the birght pumpkins!
