Cooler Weather

I dread the cold weather coming and the thought that my kids have to stay inside most of the time. My kids are the outdoors type who think that every waking minute of every day they have to be outside. They want to "picnic" outside, play barbies and every other outdoor activity you can think of. When the weather starts getting cooler, they have to come in a little sooner and then eventually they won't be able to play outside much at all.

To say the least they get so restless during the winter months. So for now they try to get a little excercise after school everyday by playing basketball, soccer, baseball and even throw the frisbee around once in a while. If they are really energetic they play with our 6 month old St. Bernard puppy. Her name is Tootie Frootie. We call her toot or tootie. She is a huge hairball full of energy!!

However, she is not little! She is about 70 lbs already. She is the first St. Bernard that we have has. We have wanted one for quite a long time. We researched them and finally decided to get one. She is quite the dog! We finally found one on the internet and drove 3 hours into another state to get her, and we are glad we did!
