Fall

Fall is my favorite season of all. Gone is the Illinois humidty! Even after living in Illinois almost my entire life, the humidity is terrible. In the fall, I enjoy the dry cool breeze, and the vibrant colors associated with the Autumn season. The leaves are all turning colors, from deep scarlet reds to bright vibrant orange and yellows. The backdrop of color is exquisite. The cool air makes you want to snuggle up with a good book and a soft blanket and sit with the window slightly open so you can still enjoy the fresh air. The air this time of year is scented with sweet apples, pumpkins, cornstalks and straw. A good book and warm apple cider or cinnamon hazelnut coffee is a must on these cool days.
