Summertime..

Summer is off to a wonderful start!   Derek and Emily have had a busy few weeks.  They went to Vacation Bible School in Berwick with Lauren and Katie.

That same week, we had VBS at our church also.  They really enjoyed going and was upset when it was over!  We took a "Day"cation so that Emily could see Nick...

Last week, I ran the Fireworks stand in Knoxville. 

 I had a lot of help from all the kids and in the evening, Derek and Emily went to another camp called Cowboys and Christ.  

During all this time....Our puppies were growing, and growing!  We have deposits on all the puppies, and I'm so happy that they will all be going to good homes soon.  They are 3 weeks old now.  They are eating soft food, their eyes are open, and they are walking around.

More Pups...

On June 15, Tootie had her pups!  She has 4 that survived.  She had some at home, one with the help of our vet.  Unfortunately, 2 didn't make it.  Now we have 2 male and 2 female St. Bernard Puppies!

Nick finds a forever home...

Nick, Walter and Tooties' Puppy that was born in December, continued to grow this spring.  Some very good friends of ours, Toren and Regina, lost their Mastiff Ben, tragically of a heart attack.  So Emily suggested that we give them Nick.  So, a few weeks later, they came and picked him up.   Here are a few pics of him growing up as well of a few updated pics Toren sent yesterday.   He's such a beautiful dog!

The day before his first birthday,  My Grandson, Blaize got his first haircut.   Here are a few before and after pictures of him....

Our next big chore was cleaning out the pool and getting it ready for swimming!  Due to all the rainy weather, we didn't get to it as soon as we wanted to.  But as you will see in the pictures, that a little hard work and it will look good as new!

Now the pool is extremely clean, cool and refreshing!
John and I also celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary on June 3rd.  My daughter Sharayah, bought us a nice flower arrangement...

Other than that we have been enjoying the outside,our pets, our kids and our grandson..

Happy Fathers Day to John!

My daughter, Sharayah, is expecting her second child, a girl, on September 8th.   Right now she is about 28 weeks....
