Blaize's 2nd Birthday

My sweet Grandson, Blaize, celebrated his 2nd Birthday on June 1.  He also had a birthday/pizza party on June 4. Papa and I bought him a John Deere 12volt power wheels tractor....

We also bought a Jumpy horse for Blaize and Lyndie....

Here is his cake....

later on, we went back outside and Blaize was sitting on a Harley Davidson motorcycle.  It was running and LOUD but he loved it and just sat there....I was so shocked that he wasn't scared!

Here are some pictures from his big family party....He had so much fun and loved his new drum set!!

Summer has started!

On May 23rd, My Mom celebrated her 69th Birthday!!  Happy Birthday to my sweet, Beautiful Mother!
Sharon Lonas

Also on May 23, was Emily's first softball game!  She played a great game.  For part of the game she played 2nd base, and for the rest she was catcher..

                             She looks so tiny!

Other than myself, here are her loyal fans...
The highlight of her summer vacation so far was when Uncle Tom and Aunt Becky came to visit and brought her a huge jar of pickles!!

She's a child after my own heart!
We were running errands in Galesburg, and when I asked Emily where she wanted to eat lunch, she said "Can we please go to McDonald's cause they have those scrumptious little cheeseburgers!" haha  So, here she is eating one of those cheeseburgers!!

Of course, Derek and I liked it too!

Big Mac attack

We stopped at the Knox County humane society to volunteer.  We chose an older chocolate lab to take outside and walk.  He was such a sweet dog!!

Poor guy!  How could you not love this face???  I hope he finds a really good forever home!
Each one of them also found a favorite cat to play with!  Very lovable cats!

We really did have a great day!

The Month of May

The Month of may has flown by!   There was so much happening!  My oldest daughter, Crystal had a Birthday and turned 27!

Shortly there after, I had a Birthday!  I wish I could say I was 27, however, that was not the case!  lol
Here are a few pics from my Birthday!

We went to King Gyros for supper, on my Birthday!  I Love eating there!
Mom got some of my family together and surprised me with a trip to Olive Gardens for lunch, which is one of my favorite placed to go!
We also went shopping at a few little shops in Kickapoo that I like.  Thank You so much, Mom for a wonderful day!
Well, next in May was Mother's Day!
John and I fixed lunch for our Mothers.  We made grilled Tilapia, grilled veggies, Asian salad, fruit salad and lemon dessert!  It was very good!
My kids got together a little later in the day and got me  gift certificates for a day at the spa!  It was wonderful!
Here are some pics of me and my kids....

And now I will ask you.....What Mother's Day would be complete without a trip to the Emergency Room??
Derek had been complaining about his arm hurting for a few hours.  We tried the usual, ice packs and ibuprofen but it just wasn't working.  So up to the ER we drove.

Very tired

Turns out that he pulled a muscle and had to wear a sling for several days!  Poor Derek!!

Thanks for visiting my blog....Love to all!
