In the kitchen

We've been having a lot of rain again this year!  Thankfully our sump pump was ready to go when some rain water started seeping up through the drains!   We watched it all day and I'm very thankful that everything dried up with no damages this year!!   Our utility room floor is a little cleaner but i'm not complaining about that! 

Donna brought her fantastic cookbooks over today and we browsed and decided to make chicken enchiladas for supper and raspberry cheesecake bars!  Wow..they were wonderful!

I was in charge or dessert and Donna made most of the chicken enchilladas....

We have a lot of fun cooking together....and eating together!  Everyday is an excuse for a great meal....from birthdays , holidays, game night, weekdays, weekends, sunny days, rainy days, cold days, and just because days!   I truly enjoy entertaining with food and love company!  It seems my house has been deemed the 'meeting' place for all get togethers as well as drop-ins for dinner! 

Someone else who enjoys my kitchen is my precious neice, Kate!  She's always sitting there with a smile for anyone who walks by... 

She also has noticed Mocha lately and yesterday she rolled over next to her and petted her for the first time...funny thing is...Mocha didn't seem to mind the attention one bit...

Sharayah dropped in for a visit tonight and a snapped her picture....she will be 39 weeks tomorrow....

I'm so excited to be a grandma!!
